On your walk just now, you hugged a tree. Like REALLY hugged a tree. It’s not that you hadn’t hugged a tree before, but you’ve never really went for it like you did this morning. You let your entire front body rest against it, and the tree, being the thing of nature that it is, absorbed what you didn’t need to be carrying this morning.
Crazy how you’ve never noticed how much support you can get from a tree, right?
You also saw a HUGE tree that had tipped over fallen into the lake in the last 24 hours and the roots caught your eye. You always hear about roots and root down and go back to your roots, and on some level you understand what this all means, but you got a first hand look at the actual roots of this massive tree this morning and couldn’t help but thinking,
